Ahead of the 2023 general election, a socio-political group, ACTion Team for Sheriff Oborevwori, has appealed to the people of Isoko nation to come out en mass to cast their votes for the PDP governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and other candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.
Facilitator of the group, Hon Umale Augustine made this appeal at Emevor, Isoko North local government area of Delta state during the ward-ward campaign visit to Emevor Ward 07 by the PDP governorship campaign train.
According to Umale, “We have come out to lend our voices and support for the candidature of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as governor of Delta state at the 2023 election because Emevor people and Isoko nation will stand to gain from his M.OR.E agenda.
“We are appealing for support to all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections due to the competence displayed and seen in the party and the resourcefulness of the candidates, especially the governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori
“Our appealed is based on the considerable conviction that PDP will transform our land, empower our people and provide infrastructure and employment.” Umale said.
Secretary of the group, Iyagha Edith said; “The ACTion Team for Sheriff, Oro Support Initiative Group is calling and and appealing to Isoko nation both home and in the diaspora to come back home and cast their vote for the PDP.
She however commended Comrade Augustine Umale JP, convener of ACTion Team for Sheriff for his supports, encouragement for his continued financial and moral support.
On his part, Comrade Mike Okagbare of the Action Team for Sheriff, assured of victory for all the PDP candidates in Isoko land.
“We are satisfied with the performance of Governor Okowa and we so much believed that Okowa who is the vice presidential candidate of the PDP will definitely transform the nation with his brilliant ideas and leadership skills.
He called on all to queue behind the PDP to rescue the nation from the hands of cabals who have ruined the nation with their incompetence and corruption.
